These all seem like classic DDG to me. I saw them perform the whole album from start to finish back in October, it was one of the best shows I've seen this year and my favorite DDG show out of the four times I've seen them now.
Coming Down is still their best song yet though.

Not true. The bassist split to focus on being an author and the other guitarist split to work on his own music. Mike's album is coming out in March.
Wes Marskell and Jason Couse are still making music. It actually went better than expected because they only wanted to make three albums and then stop completely.

There are some good songs on it but I felt like it was generally just a lot weaker, especially when it came to the instrumentals, than Only in Dreams.
Coming Down is a killer for sure, but He Gets Me High is a classic for me.

Nearly everything I have heard from 2013 was mediocre (Like Clockwork, Reflektor, RAM, midcity). Government Plates was the standout for me, but even then that was just an 8/10.

I had the chance to see them in a warehouse (in Dwyer's hometown, no less) right after Carrion Crawler dropped but I was too wee to go to DIY shows alone and neither parent would take me. All those spaces are in a really "rough" part of town that isn't actually very rough.
But it's okay, I saw them at 285 Kent last year.
