This is far better than the album version, it's also old as shit and it's weird that they sat on this for so long
most Alice in Chains songs from their first few albums

I always thought that, much preferred the drum sound on the demos

Dedicated is sooo good. Why did they ever change?
Jai Paul - jasmine

Something
All the tracks from SFTBH that made it in to Pinkerton. Every version of Tired of Sex that I've heard that isn't the one on Pinkerton is god tier.
>>51831804
Oh damn, never knew there were demo versions. I definitely prefer the album version, but it's cool hearing the alternate ideas here and there
every single black metal album
>>51830941
panda bear's pre tomboy singles
ween
Every song on Green Day's "Drmolicious" except the god awful bedroom demo of Stay The Night
>The EP sounds better than the album
Serpents by Sharon Van Etten

I on the other hand, listened those two to death and was then ultimately dissapointed when the album came.

Indeed, the demo is better than the finished version.

Venus in Furs demo with only acoustic guitar and John Cale singing is pretty glorious

This would literally not stand out in any soundcloud or whatever thread. The Strokes had fantastic PR to make it where they are today.
>>51830941
just my personal opinion. a lot of the songs sound the same in the demo version, but i prefer all the layering of the vocals and the guitar rather than the thin vocals and piano of the final version.
any Megadeth song

the blue album demos are so much better than the final cuts
The Strokes - I'll Try Anything Once
The Velvet Underground - I Found a Reason
Ogre You Asshole - ロボトミー

agreed
Kanye Wests demo tracks from between 808s and MBDTF.

Is it because he doesn't rap on them?
