I strongly recommend Geoff Farina's solo stuff (Reverse Eclipse and the new album Wishes of the Dead). For Karate stuff, though, go with Some Boots or the 595 Live LP.

I listened to this album once when I was leaving my favorite city I've ever been to, which happens to be on the opposite hemisphere, and which also happens to be a city I'm unlikely to return to. The album fit well. I should probably go through more of their stuff
