Actually, that vocalist has been with them from the beginning. Christian Van Deurs and Mason Maggio have always shared (sung, a different band member screams) vocals in TROW, but one dominated Varuna, the other dominated The Cartographer, they were pretty even on His Old Branches, and let's just forget that No Matter How Narrow exists.

The artist responsible for my newfound interest is a man named Erik Satie who was a French composer and pianist. According to wikipedia, his style is classified as 'minimalistic' as well as repetitive in nature.
