Can any anons hook me up with some more middle-school core?
Fall of Troy? They're actually instrumentally pretty decent, but I think they've got that strong adolescent association - probably because of the vocals.
when were you in middle school
my 'middle school core' would be like, fucking eminem and 50 cent
which isn't exactly what you're looking for
then again, a lot of the music i listened to in high school came out when i was in middle school
ill post some of those

Probably from 2006 to 2008 is when I was in middle school
>>48651298
i still enjoy this one to be honest
>>48651101
I Set My Friends On Fire is godawful even for -core standards m8
Anyway
>middle-school core
There is pop-punk (Fall Out Boy, Breathe Carolina...); emo/screamo/post-hardcore (A Skylit Drive, Alesana...); scenecore general (Attack Attack!, Asking Alexandria); edgy rap general (Eminem, 50Cent...); Brostep/EDM (Skrillex, Avicii...).
And of course top40 radiopop

>>48651431
I can sorta stand them instrumentally
Their harsh vocals are seriously awful tho
>if this wasn't b8
>>48651101
I actually love this album. Anyone who takes it seriously is a fucking moron. The band doesn't even take their music seriously. They're just crazy and fun.
>>48651469
No problem man, I just found the cd from OP in my closet this morning and wanted to relive the nostalgia with you all.

Sometimes I listen just to remember what being 13 was like.
I enjoyed their last album before they broke up though.
>>48652796
i always thought that cover looked like two dongs connected from the base
>>48651101
Honestly on my first listen of pic related for years i don't think it's too bad. It's pretty silly and I sort of like the harsh vocals but the singing is terrible and some of the electronic parts are pretty bad. No worse than any of the pop punk shit out there.
>>48651695
No I like Iceage...

All have a special place in my library, and that's after deleting tons of shit from middle school I genuinely don't enjoy anymore, even for nostalgia. These just get the middle school-core label because so many discovered this at that age. All of this is still objectively good.
>>48652796
>tfw their new project went nowhere
>>48653524
What did you expect. Look at the other garbage these kids listen to on other threads. /mu/ is pretty shit these days
>>48654178

>>48651588

oh snap. This brings back some memories. I still have this music and occasionally listen to it. But with memories there comes a cures. I do not listen to the albums the bands made after I graduated. Somehow they are inferior or they changed their sound. Does anyone else experience this?
