There's almost no point of me asking this but whatever.

Found this mixtape (DJ Mondie - Straight Up Vol. 1 Hosted by Shizzle) on soulseek but it's missing tracks 2 and 4, any chance anyone has got them? Shit's so rare not even RYM has got a track list for it.

so who here is down with Intergalactic FM?

https://intergalacticfm.com/
If you are a devotee of /bleep/, then you really need to spend some time checking IFM out. It is basically 6 channels of pure /bleep/, run out of the Netherlands by Rude 66 and DJ I-F. It is the successor to the legendary CBS (Cybernetic Broadcast System).
The stations are formatted with each one representing a distinct style/flavor of /bleep/.
MURDERCAPITAL FM is mostly Detroit/Detroit Influenced Techno, Classic Chicago House, Acid House, Acid Techno, Electro, Electro-Funk, Nu Electro, Bunker/Creme Records type stuff, and then every Monday, Murdercapital becomes "Black Monday," a 24 hour showcase of Underground Synth and Wave classics: Minimal Wave/Minimal Synth, Coldwave, New Wave, New Romantic, Early Industrial and newer stuff that is inspired by that sound (Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire, Nitzer Ebb, DAF, etc.), Wax Trax, Nettwerk and TVT style Industrial Dance (Ministry, Skinny Puppy, NIN, Thrill Kill Kult, Front Line Assembly), Early Goth, Post-Punk (i.e. Wire, Chrome, Tuxedomoon), Synth-Pop (i.e. Depeche Mode). You get the point. Black Monday lasts all day Monday and then throughout the week they have "Black Blocs," hour+ long blocks of the above mentioned styles.

....continued
so channel 2, INTERGALACTIC CLASSIX, focuses more on the Disco and Funk side of things. Disco (the real shit, no Bee Gees bullshit), Italo and Space Disco, Funk, Electro-Funk, Boogie, and frequent blocks of Old-School Hip-Hop/Rap (usually pre-1987/88 stuff, but sometimes up into the second wave of the late 80's sample-based Hip-Hop - the emphasis is usually on the analog synthesizer based stuff).
Radio Galaxia is very diverse, lots of Detroit Techno, Minimal Techno, House, lots of DJ sets, but pretty much Dance-Music oriented
The Dream Machine is the shizzle. This station is more on the Ambient side of things. Lots of Synth-based Soundtracks (i.e. John Carpenter), Library Music, Ambient, Drone, Noise, Dark Ambient, Avant Garde, Musique Concrete, etc.
The Garden is totally free-form, everything from Frank Sinatra to Brian Eno, Derrick May to Cluster.
Radio-Free Robotron is mostly reserved for DJ sets, so its impossible to classify. Each set is totally different.

Highly recommended. It is hands down GOAT radio station as far as /bleep/ is concerned, 24/7/365. If you are a true /bleep/ head, there is no way you will not fall in love.

Oh, yeah, IFM has a free APP for iOS and ANDROID. Plays all 6 stations with complete tracklisting for each tune. Just search for "Intergalactic FM" in iTunes and the Google Marketplace.

Everytime i come across a complicated word in a chemistry book or some shit i think "damn that would be a cool techno track title". It's essential for techno producers to have large vocabularies imo so that they can give their tracks cool titles like "optical fingerprint correlation"

hmm... out of all nights, i'd say fabric is probably one of the more weird ones to go to alone. it's very ravey in there, not much chinstroking even at the chinstroke nights. you'd probably stand out like a sore thumb a bit.

unless you're one of those geezers who just gets really wired and chills in the smoking area with strangers all night, because i can rate that
>>
>>48476886
>unless you're one of those geezers who just gets really wired and chills in the smoking area with strangers all night, because i can rate that
but then why the fuck would you pay the £20+ to get in there in the first place?
>>
>>48476931
lol only those said geezers know the answer to that question. i see it all the time. i think people get wired by themselves with the intention of dancing but get too content with the chilling outside

have you never been wired with your mates and went for a cig break which ended up stretching into a 50 minute love marathon
>>
>>48477001
>have you never been wired with your mates and went for a cig break which ended up stretching into a 50 minute love marathon
yeah only at fabric, because I knew I could go back in and there'd still be another 6 hours left

if you go in without intent to listen to the music I dunno not just go to a shit cheap club
>>
>>48477060
this is me most of the time, but theres some nights which have amazing music where i dunno what it is but i just end up preferring chilling over dancing. not that i intend for this to happen though

what does /bleep/ think of the new sbtrkt? ezra koenig was a bit off putting at first but i actually got into it once i got used to it. it's got a bit of a surreal kind of feel to it. i can see what he means about it being a funny tune. really nice production too.

Was the SND Tplay 1:5 reissue vinyl only?

As in, did it not come with any digital files?

It doesn't look that way and it's kind of a shame, woudl've sounded nicer if it was cleaner than this vinyl rip tbh
>>
>>48485607
yeah as much as i like vinyl, releases being vinyl-only irks me
idk, maybe they think it helps prevent piracy (which it doesn't)?
>>
>>48485607
>>48485921
have they completely switched around the track listing for the original Tplay too?
the first track is now the last and they all follow such a minimal similar beat, it's hard to tell which ones are the new bonus tracks and which ones are just out of order.
