Why don't Americans understand drum and bass?
Whenenever I'm at a set and a D&B song gets dropped everyone stops moving and just looks around confused. If I'm at a "festival" the D&B acts, if there even are any which is rare, never have much of a crowd.
I've never been to Europe but from what I've heard it's pretty huge over there. I wonder what the disconnect is here in the states.

I think 8.8 is a good bet. I like the production a lot, but the songs/hooks aren't that memorable for me. I loved Cupid Deluxe, but the songwriting is a little more abstract on this one, TBD whether that's a good thing.

I just sat and did nothing but listen to this for the first time and OH MY GOD, but I have some questions about the lyrical themes that are brought upon frequently such as the recurrent mention of signals, sheets, the two headed boy, semen, and sweet descriptions of love. Is there any overall story? I could catch some anne frank references but does she play into the themes?
