the OP aimed to find conclusive results on albums that nearly all of /mu/ found to be enjoyable.
It was, however, inefficiently organized and several posters suggested a strawpoll instead.
So, taking this process in stages, we'll start off with gathering a roster of albums.
Reply with an album name, and reply to that with "upvote" to count it for a possible contender in the Top 100.

Will check out when I get back home. Sounds rad.
If each board on 4chan started a band, what would they be like?
>/v/
Hard rock/early heavy metal with elements of chiptune and film soundtracks. The band members spend less time composing than they do complaining about other bands and their songs.
>/tg/
Symphonic metal with a crazy fun mood and a high fantasy lore that carries on throughout all their albums. Famous for their unusual on-stage costumes, as well as after-show incidents involving said costumes.
>/s4s/
Experimental prog rock with unstable beats, bursts of highly distorted guitars, and improvised free-time bass. Features occasional vocal samples from TV shows and cartoons.

I reckon it'd sound like early-80's Swans crossed with The Village People
little known fact: SJWs started on somethingawful
>/fa/
Dark ambient, they can just stand there twisting knobs and looking cool in their Dick Ovens without actually needing any instrumental skill, songwriting ability or talent.

Hi /mu/!
Now that Lone's Reality Testing lp got released, I guess it would be the right time to get back on track of good electronic music releases in 2014.

Album of the year, a general disappointment or just a nice unreleased novelty? Decide by listening to the album by yourself or reading what other anons have to say about it.

Hey folks,
I'm looking for music that you could imagine being played in a nightclub in the year 3500 that was written in the 50's - 60's.
I've been writing a lot of science fiction stories and ideas recently to eventually turn into screenplays and I've found that kind of music helps me a lot.
So far I've been listening to this one album Microgravity by Biosphere practically on loop but I feel the need to change.
Here's a few samples:
>Biosphere - The fairy tale
