What do you think they will have on their setlist during this next tour? What are you hoping for?
If someone is going to a Swans show without knowing much about them do you think it'd be a good idea to show them some of Swans' music first or just let them experience it first hand live.
Personally i'm hoping for Cloud of Unknowing, The Glowing Man, and at least a couple songs from To Be Kind. Also i'm taking my dad and can't decide whether or not to show him more of their music cause i think he'd appreciate it more in a live setting,...

Sadly, they probably won't play COU or TGM since those tracks were performed on the last tour and I doubt Gira will want to revisit them now they have both been recorded. I'd bet they'll play The World Looks Red / The World Looks Black, People Like Us, and Finally, Peace. I saw in a recent interview that new songs will also form a big part of the upcoming set.

source to that interview? i find it really hard to believe that they won't play The Glowing Man considering it's the center piece of their new album and this is their final tour for this lineup. are you sure these "new songs" aren't just continuations or improvised versions of old songs?
ITT: album's you listen to at least once a week

I certainly couldn't make friends with someone who does.

Earl's got the best flow in the rap game right now, along with the best lyricism.
This isn't 2010 anymore, Earl's grown into god-tier in the last few years.

Good but fuck knows what the songs are actually about.
good ass band
We have lots of threads about albums men can relate to, why not have one about women's experiences? Pic related is a really good example. It deals with issues that men might not relate to as much, and it does so from a woman's perspective. Let's keep this thread light, no gender wars nonsense plz.
You're asking about something pretty specific since women don't really make as much music, and most of the popular and known music women make is pretty marginalized.

Here's the thing about Freddie. The man had some serious pipes. He had a 4 octave range and he excelled in any octave. He wrote brilliant songs. And his stage presence was only matched by Adolf Hitler. Seriously, watch them play Radio Gaga at Live Aid and then watch a video of the Nuremburg rallies. We had better thank our lucky stars Freddie didn't go into politics or he would have taken over the world. But Queen as a whole had a brilliant dynamic. It wasn't just the Freddie Mercury backup band. They all made huge creative contributions to what made Queen what...
