Why did you pick up your first instrument, /mu/?
Pic related: I wanted to be the kind of man she'd like. And it was then that I realised I didn't like or listen to a lot of music, and made me search out and get into tons more music.

Autumn 2012 and Winter 2013 was completed dominated by Swans. I bought almost the entire discography during that period.
What's /mu/'s opinion on this album? This is one of the few country albums that I have just absolutely fallen in love with. 'I Am a Pilgrim' is so goddamn simple, but I'll be damned if it doesn't tug at my heartstrings at a visceral level. I can't not sing along in full voice when it comes on.
