We're in big trouble
This time last year we were spamming "Jenny Death When"
What a quick, quick year it's been
It's gone by far too fast
IM SO NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
>you will never hear the news about the new Death Grips single and scramble to your computer so you can listen to Inanimate Sensation again
>It will never be the evening of Dec 9, 2014 again
>Next year happens in less than 30 days, but 2 minutes ago is infinitely far away
2015 really did fly by. Nothing that happened this year seemed real. Yeezus dropped almost 2 and a half years ago, and it seems like just yesterday it was spammed everywhere here.
Post as much as you can related to SWISH

What does /mu/ think of Kesha?
Truly patrician
dead career
she's fucked in more ways than one XD
>>60638674
she made crappy chintzy sounding pop songs that people who had never heard synthesizers before liked. now nobody gives a shit. also shes ugly.
10/10
end your life already
literally just poorly recorded mumford and sons
>>60638534
end YOUR life already you stupid bitch!
OK, /mu/, I've been put in charge of the playlist for a party. However, I'm having some real difficulty with it. Most of the music that I listen to isn't really party appropriate (too avant garde and low tempo). If I picked stuff that I liked, it would probably be a real downer. What should I include?
Most of my friends listen to surf rock, (/mu/ approved) country/western, rockabilly, rap, and the like. Need some music that people can party to.

Don't bother with patrician music, just put Hotline Bling on repeat like a normal person.
>>60638501
what kind of party is it
is it casual get together stuff or is it a get-fucked-up kind of party
Thoughts?
>>60638365
>mainstream normies
that jazz lie lol
>>60638365
>classic rock, country, rock, singer-songwriter

It shocks me knowing that photo wasn't shopped at all. He's look like he just got the worst news of his life. What HAPPENED moments before this photo was taken? What happened?
Can we talk about the best rapper in the game and his wonderful new mixtape? Best adlibs in the game.

watch this video friend, you might cum tho
If I'm honest, if you can't appreciate this album or other avant garde music you aren't a music fan.
That's not to say that you have to love it or call it GOAT or anything, but if you can't acknowledge the redeeming qualities in avant garde music it's because you lack the knowledge in order to understand it.
le meme square album

i've never heard this album before or have any idea what it is but i'm skeptical, simply because the core fanbase of every single style of music are the fans of that particular idiom. while math rock or free jazz or contemporary classical or drone have immense appeal to broad fans of esoteric music, the majority of the fans of artists who produce music in those idioms will be the fans who are devoted to that particular style. you don't realize this because you spend all day on the computer instead...

lol hey guys wats up
I got hit hard, I'm on the ground :(
I broke up with my ex-girlfriend who told me she actually loved this album.
It's such putrid, contrived, feelsy indie dreck.
>>60637896
Huh, I've always enjoyed it immensely myself
>almost 2016
>still listening to weezer folk
>start trying to compose decent music
>compose okay music, never finish a damn song
>start with another, save the file to my computer, and repeat the cycle
what do i do, /mu/? Everything i write feels amateurish.
I'm right there with you
>>60637720
this is what i do
you just need to flesh it out so it doesnt suck, i mean maybe he says this to sound deep and cool but michael gira says that nothing he makes feels finished and thats fine
and amateurishness/mediocrity is subjective, i mean metal and rap is boring to me but amazing to others
and even if it is it just takes time to get better
>>60637808
by flesh out i mean it just has to have a beginning and end, and all you really have to do is put it into audacity or something and fade it in and then fade it out
