Script of the bridge
Personally I love Daniel's stuff. This album feels fresh new with an emphasis on intense heavy sounds that compliment Daniel's traditional abstract art style.

it's great

DUDE NO SCOPES 420 LMAO
Pretty meh, in my opinion. Really liked Replica and R Plus Seven way more. Ezra is the fucking jam though. The voice in the background of the bridge is fucking awesome.
Ever misheard lyrics to a song and you always thought they were one thing but you were wrong?
Hilariously wrong?
I'll start: I always heard the phrase in Childish Gambino's "Put It In My Video --
"I'm writing movies where I'm making out with Aubrey Plaza"--as
"I'm writing movies where I'm making out with Rayquaza".
What makes this a little more embarrassing is that I once had a dream within a dream where I was indeed making out with a Rayquaza.

>Literal memecore.
>Mediocre song writing.
>Somewhat ruined Shoegaze due to the copycats etc.
>Can't rec to friends because the album cover and name are cringe.

>Can't rec to friends because the album cover and name are cringe.
The album color is beautiful and perfectly represents the album. And you're too embarrassed to rec them because the name might be misinterpreted? You're a coward.
>Sometimes is shit in comparison to all the other songs.
How does it feel to not even be able to appreciate or understand your favorite album?

Firstly, kill yourself.
>The album color is beautiful and perfectly represents the album.
Thanks for stating the obvious, doesn't change the fact that whenever i recommend it to someone they call me a faggot for liking an album with a pink cover and a name that sounds like a corny emo band.
>How does it feel to not even be able to appreciate or understand your favorite album?
I do understand it, it revolves around noise and pedal effects blah blah. Additionally, i like the song, doesn't change the fact that is the weak point in comparison to the other songs.

ok ok
>>Sometimes is shit in comparison to all the other songs.
what?
Casual faggot here. I pretty much only listen to popular, mainstream music. I'm looking to broaden my horizons. So, /mu/, what do you have for me?
Nothing without lyrics. No hard rock/screamo/shit like that. If I want someone to scream into my ears, I'll just go spend a day with my family.

Do you have any interests?
That would be a good starting point.
I really liked horror films when I was young so I started digging into horror music (learning to use the web to dig for music is also a good first step) and was really into horror punk and some horrorcore rap for a time. I started to look for more obscure things not because they were obscure but because the more bands you know, the more likely it is you will find one that is perfect for you. I looked into the individual artists' discographies to uncover projects I didn't know of, listened to compilations, read fanzines, located blogspots with obscure downloads for certain genres etc. I started to look up music from soundtracks I liked, I checked out directors' musical endeavors, read interviews and started looking up music that handled themes I was interested in. Over the years my interest in music grew independent of my taste in film and they both matured gracefully.
What I want to say is that even if you get tons of replies in this thread that tell you the coolest songs you could imagine and you listen to them for years to come you will still be a casual figgot because you never put any effort in developing your own taste.
What is the best track on this album and why is it Pete Standing Alone

Winter is almost here.
What are some essential winter albums?
Pic definitely related
Also anything like pic related?
Mount Eerie - Dawn
Which is funny, cause it has a tribute to Björk on it, specifically the song Voice in Headphones which uses the chorus from Undo on Vespertine.
So Phil Elverum also considered Vespertine a winter album OP, as he had brought it as one of few albums with him when he lived on his own in a cabin in Norway the winter 2002-2003, where he wrote the songs for Dawn.

You could try Console's album 'Rocket In The Pocket'. Bjork used his track 'Crabcraft' for the backing track of 'Heirloom'.
