I wanted to start a vinyl collection for years now but I'm a poorfag.
Yes I know vinyl isn't for my kind but I wasn't fortunate enough to be some suburban white kid with parents buying Crosleys with arcade fire so I want to get started at least.
Have collected about 1k for starters. Is it worth actually starting at this point or just meme?

It's been a few months. What're you guys' opinions on this album? I'm seen it mentioned from many people online as "the most overrated album of the year". I thought it was a pretty enjoyable record overall, if nothing more.

I have a number of releases (mostly on CD), and I would like to show /mu/ the liner notes and so on, but I'm only interested in doing this if I get 2-4 big Yeses. Otherwise I'll save it for another time.

yeah his stuff is pretty great. Homotopie to Marie is always an engrossing listen. I recently checked out his collab with Aranos and it's unexpectedly beautiful.
His 2015 work with Graham Bowers's worth checking out as well. swell guy.
Listened to once or twice, prefer TG.

These two playing together are my favorite.
I mean I like Television but I wouldn't consider them a favorite, and I don't try to play like either of them, but the way that they play off of each other is brilliant.
