Cassettes literally have no redeeming qualities. They sound like shit. Vinyl actually has collectable value and is just cooler. Fuck you.
Cassettes are inferior to vinyl in countless ways. Vinyls at least look cool.

I just downloaded synth1 and I cant get it to work in fl studio. I put it in the vst folder and it shows up, but there isnt an actual plugin for it. Its kind of a dumb question, but im not sure what i did wrong, so any help is appreciated!

Channels -> Add one -> More -> click the refresh button on the lower right. (fast scan)
Select your VST in the list (it will be red)
Now your VST will show up whenever you go to add a new channel.
READ THE FUCKING MANUAL

Grew up listening to them because even in the 90's my dad still played all their shit constantly. Thick is a really good album, but I think a lot of their best stuff gets overlooked on this board. Minstrel in the Gallery is basically a perfect album.
