So I have a math project that's due on the 31st where we have to collect data to graph on a histogram, and I decided to post about it here because the question I have for the project is music-related:

Do people unironically dislike Muse in this board?
There's no equivalent of them.(Talking about pre-BHaR. Their newer stuff doesn't sound as original, but sounds good nonetheless) No other band makes similar music, besides some songs of Radiohead and that band is inferior to Muse in any way. Atleast Matthew doesn't sound as whiny and annoying.

If you have a band and it is not getting a ton of media hype within one year of playing, just forget it. Learn a new skill that will earn money. Unless you're a classical musician (AKA an actual real musician) who gets paid to play their craft.

I was laughed at more than once for suggesting a Beach Boys album to someone.
Playing a gig for the first time and idk where else to ask about how to even act at a gig. The genre is indie and just the though of it is scary.
We have to play 5 originals but the thing is that we do t have much songs so we planned playing one cover at least.
Someone told me to play the covers at the end of all the songs we are supposed to play. Anyone here who can show me the ropes around indie gigs?
