What band/artist perfectly represents a board?
Tool is the perfect representation of /mu/ Intelligent, nihilistic and a wicked sense of humor
>/pol/ is obviously Burzum
Varg is like their fucking patron.
Wow, this is great, are any of the Beatles albums anywhere near as groundbreaking? Where should I start with their discography? I'd like to try to appreciate them now that I'm not a shitty avant-teen anymore.

>anywhere near as groundbreaking
glad you liked RAM anon. truly a record for every mood and occasion
unfortunately, it's all downhill from here. with everything, really, but especially music. such is the double-edged nature of RAM
>>63485451
All things must pass was groundbreaking because of the production value.
Are any of their other albums worth checking out?

If you want to

this one, Ivixor B/Phase Inducer is an amazing track
it wasn't that bad desu
t. stoner
And that's exactly why it gets the response it does, it is average, especially compared to their other material
>>63485141
it's better than tch imo
the guitars just did not work at all there (but the non-guitar tracks were nice)
Have you ever hated an album on first listen then have it become one of your favorites later on?
>"I love you Jesus Christ"
Threw me off at first, along with the singing, which I now love.
>>63485663
I didn't "hate" it at first, but definitely the first listen I was like "wtf is this crap". It took 4 or 5 listens, and then it just "clicked".

Now that it's been a year since it's release can we agree that On GP is the best Death Grips song?
Kys pleb

Does /mu/ like pic related?
i like it, brings a new sound to atlanta-trap style. it's goofy, and it does have a lot of flaws but there's something about it that makes me keep listening to it
great cover, decent ideas, bad production

What is your opinion of Kendrick Lamar and why?
He's cool. Not my favorite of the early 2010s up-and-coming rappers, that would be Big KRIT who I'm frankly a little disappointed in for not blowing up even more (which he could have done if he fucking switched his style up even a bit). But yeah it's always a good thing when somebody who tries as hard as Kendrick does to be great gets the success they deserve.
>>63481937
I agree with your latter statement. I want to marry Kendrick he's cute
>>63481863
I think he's an anti-white racist.
Finally got around to listening to pic related.
I was blown away.
How can one album be so incredible (Frownland, Hair Pie: Bake 1 and 2, Dachau Blues), and then so awful (any of Beefhearts spoken word bullshit)?
What do you all think /mu/? Good album, shit album, or a meme?
it's an interesting piece of art
Seriously more noise than music. It's shit and was put together in a unique but shitty manner.
Mostly unlistenable for me except for a few good songs (Frownland, Moonlight on Vermont) but I still respect it for the influence and impact it has on modern music.
