Thrash? More like Trash! xD amirite?
Which King Crimson singer do you like the best?
I choose Burrell
>>64149275
Greg Lake is the best but I have a sentimental attachment to Wetton's voice.
I like Wetton's voice the best. He had so much soul and meat to his voice.
Wetton > Belew > Lake > the Jon Anderson feature on Lizard > Jakko > Haskell > Burrell
can't say this isn't entirely uninfluenced by my opinion of their eras as a whole though.
post a picture that expresses how you currently feel, others recommend you music based on that.
I'm not being sarcastic when I say this, the Royal Tenenbaums soundtrack has that feel completely

i need help, i want to find a hip hop song i heard some years ago, i remember in the video of the song some dudes went to a house that could be made invisible
Im looking for a hip hop song too. I heard it a long time ago and the only piece of lyric i could remember is - "like down syndrome."
It sounded like cypress hill, but i could never find anything.

this one?
Do you think its much more difficult being in a rock band these days than it was years ago?
>Record sales are at a low
>Soundcloud is saturated with jerkoffs who only play three chords
>Rock is dead and Trap music is the only thriving genre
It would've been much more achievable in the early 90s or 2000s but it feels like everything has been done to death
>>64148724
>"trap music is the only thriving genre"
>implying that becoming a superstar is the only worthy pursuit in music
don't get cucked like that my dude
there are tons of bands able to tour while remaining truly independent. They're not prodigies or super high skill musicians either. I figure if you keep working at what you want to make, you'll eventually pick up ground.
everything else you said seems accurate, based on my limited observations. can't imagine anyone can really say unless it's actually measured statistically.
that being said, why worry about it when you could be working part-time, sharing a place with other musicians and making music you love? you can survive off of minimum wage as long as you're smart and not an entitled pussy who cries about it all the time.

Victoria is literally perfect
If you on the meme team smash that mf (you) button
Which one?
I personally can't decide, they're both such works of genius.
We're referring to the Smile Sessions of course, not the 2004 Brian Wilson solo.
Pet Sounds for the feels
SMiLE by a MiLE
Smile Sessions meanders towards the latter half of the album.
Pet Sounds has 0% filler. Easy choice
TRATAR O SANGUE
a man?
The best moment on that album was when it ended.

What's the catchiest non-pop song that you can think of?
I'll start - I can't get this out of my head
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kNGnIKUdMI
>George Harrison
>non-pop
>George Harrison
>Not Pop
with all due respect, it is a great song. That song was pretty popular though...
Depends if you define anything popular as "pop" though.
>>64148294
Sorry, I meant post-2000 pop
>"Yeah I like indie!"
>"21 Pilots, The 1975, Lana Del Rey, Mac Demarco, list goes on!"
>implying indie is an actual genre anyways
>>64147853
>not liking metal over shit indie
maybe get some actual good taste in music and come back to /mu/
1 of those is relevant. it's Mac. The rest, nope. Not indie.
