Oh, fuck no. I hope it's no CD. Maybe they will get Buckethead to replace Tom.
I went to their concert in November when they came to AZ. They played all their old stuff and it was great.
In the unlikely event had some good tracks but many of the songs were too 'pop'-ish for me or just flat out not good. I hope the new album doesn't disappoint because TFOT is an all time fave

/mu/, me and some friends are travelling from England to Mongolia this summer, in July. We wanted to get some CDs and burn some songs onto them. Obviously, the Drive soundtrack will be on there, but what else should be included? It will be a roughly 4 week trip.
Out of interest why Mongolia?
>>64203676
We're doing the Mongolian rally. It was a spur of the moment decision and I need to get a few grand before June if I'm gonna make it, plus Visas and shit.
>>64203701
Well that sounds fun as fuck, hope you all make it
as for music you gonna have to be a bit more specific, what kind of music do you generally listen to?

>At one point, the conversation turned toward "social justice warriors" (a term that has been used to insult people who express progressive views)
>The Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan was a guest today on noted conspiracy theorist Alex Jones' radio show.
wtf crazy

Anytyhing by Alestorm. They're a pirate metal band.
Here's all their albums:
Captain Morgan's Revenge (2008): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17JfCG5XOoM
Black Sails at Midnight (2009): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiEaJafkO3E
Back Through Time (2011): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b07161HP_XM
Sunset on the Golden Age (2014): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lp1QxEaWM4
They also have an EP released on 2008 but those songs are on the second album.
Lastly they released two singles. One "Heavy Metal P*irates" is on their second album as a bonus track. The other one is this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsWSpv6LXPw
Also released on that single is a remix of one of their songs by a guy called Drop Goblin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LH_9WP07qWc
Finally, they have a loiive DVD released on 2013: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhI9Tn7I5dU
If you wanna know more, they started off as "Battleheart" in 2004 and released two EPs in 2006 before renaming themselves to Alestorm.
The only member that's still in the band since the beginning is the vocalist Chris Bowes, it was him that stared the band.
He also started another band called Gloryhammer who just released their second album last year. They're a Fantasy / Power Metal band.
That is all you have to know, have fun.
Bonus info: The song Magnetic NOrth in their lastest album is a parody of lady gaga's telephone. Just so you know.
By the way, theuir publisher is Napalm Records and they have some video clips on Napalm's channel.

Who island riddims here?
Fun, its upbeat, its different and while production sound might not be up to more Western counterparts, the true authenticity of the Caribbean saw and screwdriver, accordion, guitar and drums with the Calypso background work brilliantly for any Junkanoo.

Why is Japanese music so much better than Korean music?
>>64203165
koreans are filthy untermensh while japanese are honorary people
The constant threats of earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, typhoons and nuclear bombs instills a existential fear into the japanese which they put into their art

I know Faul is talented and he's probably a decent person. It's still sad that the real Paul died and we don't even acknowledge it.
