Half the album is just self-indulgent revenge porn bullshit for teenage girls with perpetual victim complexes. People really think "middle fingers up, put your hands high. Wave them in his face, tell him boy, bye" is badass women's empowerment. And that "that you took for granted, most bomb pussy" is anything more that appealing to "yaass bitch" white girls and gay guys that just want to reaffirm that Beyoncé still fits into their weird, selfish, insecure perception of "savage."

All I know is that in terms of the music that's on it, it can be compared to Blurryface - it's essentially boring and not that well written pop, and when it does experiment or try new sounds, the outcome is so ridiculously diluted and banal that they may as well have not bothered because it doesn't actually add anything.
It is also similar to Blurryface in the way that it was literally made for tumblr

After all these years MCR is still one of my favorite bands but I feel like I'm the only one who still listens to them long after their career ended. Back in high school (like the stereotype the music appealed to) I was always a bit of a loner, not unsocial enough to fit in with the usual goth crowd but not social enough to be mixed with. Thats likely the appeal of MCR that it made me feel happy with the theatrics n themes the band does. So does anyone else still listen to me?

On January 8, 1991, Jeremy Delle, a 15-year-old sophomore, killed himself with a .357 Magnum revolver in front of his second-period English class. Delle was described by schoolmates as "real quiet" and known for "acting sad." After coming in to class late that morning, Delle was told to get an admittance slip from the school office. He left the classroom, and returned with a .357 Magnum revolver. Delle walked to the front of the classroom, announced "Miss, I got what I really went for", put the barrel of the firearm in his mouth, and pulled the trigger before his teacher or classmates could react. Lisa Moore, a schoolmate, knew Jeremy from the in-school suspension program: "He and I would pass notes back and forth and he would talk about life and stuff," she said. "He signed all of his notes, “Write back.” But on Monday he wrote, “Later days.” I didn't know what to make of it. But I never thought this would happen." The incident inspired the Pearl Jam song "Jeremy". The band's lead singer, Eddie Vedder, read a newspaper account of the incident and was moved to write the song almost immediately.
