I'll join in. Honestly Reddit isn't that bad. Yes, /r/music is bad(I mean it has a mil or so subs so of course their taste will be safer music that everyone can enjoy), but more niche subreddit aren't that bad. I'm not talking /r/indieheads, whih is mediocre, I'm talking subs for specific genres and bands. They usually have good discussion and cotent.

Most of the appeal of the video is seeing such young buck's with seemingly great potential...yet in the end, they peaked here. They peaked as a fucking meme at their high school talent show.

'Sup /mu/. /pol/fag here. Tired of niggers and jew threads. Everyone tells me to avoid /mu/ and I didn't know where to post this so here we go.
About two weeks back, me and my band were performing at a band competing. Mostly shitty, emo 15 year olds screaming over 4 chord distorted guitars and double bass 16th notes. All in 4/4.
But my band is jazz fusion. I immediately had a problem when setting up. The drums were too small for my 6"2', 80kg frame. The tone wasn't proper. And the bass drum clicks instead of booming, has triggers. Can't feather it at all.
The keyboard had a delay between pressing and the sound coming. The mics were all strewn about and mismanaged.

So they take about 3 hours to set up (very unprofessional). We're (my band's) getting antsy. Finally they get shit working.
We do a soundcheck, everything seems fine. But when we start our first set, the sound engineer starts fucking up. The guitars are too low, the keyboard is too sharp and the drum tone just isn't working. After all our express instructions, he runs it on presets. Stagehands pop up while we're pushing through our shitty set and try to figure out the problems. In the middle of the performance! Fucking hell! Needless to say, I'm still pissed. We of course didn't get to the finals.
Reminder to you musician goyims, don't skimp on and rush the soundcheck when you're performing. We were tired and just wanted to get the fuck outta there so we finished our performance ASAP. Don't do that. Make sure everything is working EXACTLY as you need it to.

Well I'm pretty big on vocals and electronic experimentation but most of the stuff I've done doesn't blend really well/too individual and if I finished it now it would just be a shitty pop album.

It's the best pop era AnCo album
I hate Death Grips. I immediately lose respect for anyone who listens to them, and especially those who praise them. Here's why:
Name 20 successful people that listen to them. Pop basically runs the show when it comes to music. This includes artists like Kanye West, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Zayn Malik, Adele, Katy Perry, Beyonce et al. Pop has artists making significant contributions to the entire music industry.
Death Grips on the other hand pulls most of the heavy weight packaging from teenage angst with each album. They then lay basic synths and a joke of a rapper over it. It generally lags behind pop by a mile or two in inventiveness. I never hear their music in shops or mentioned by anyone over the age of 25.
So tell me again, how exactly do Death Grips innovate? They even struggle to release a new theme with each release, and artwork is about the only original thing with Death Grips.
Yes, Death Grips is stable because they are standing on the shoulders of socially awkward teenagers. Most of the hard work is hashed out before they ever start making "music". This is fine, and what music is all about, but I prefer to be in with the leaders rather than the followers.
What really irks me and what has really brewed my hatred are Death Grips fans. They seem to think Death Grips is responsible for all that is good in the music world. I have just proven how false this is. In my experience, Death Grips fans (virgins, teenagers, and manchildren) are much less helpful than the alternative.
If you want nice pop, listen to Bruno Mars or Taylor Swift. If you like rock, Tame Impala. If you prefer, Drake or Kendrick Lamar. But please, don't feed the idiot magnet that is Death Grips!

Girls can’t into Death Grips. For the most part they listen to them because it’s a fashion statement. They think “lol so weird”. Women need constant validation from others so they seek out sub-cultures to be apart of.
What they don’t realize is that Death Grips is about masculinity and male dominance. Women are too fucking stupid to even pay attention to lyrics
“death fuck lets fuck, just don't touch me just fuck fuck me” Women are nothing but a sack of flesh with pleasure holes for sole purpose of pleasuring Ride.
“Soon all that's left of you Is your most primal desires” Primal desires meaning the true libertine lusts that reside in the male. A good majority of the song talks about fucking drugged out, unaware sluts and whores.
That’s only a few examples of their lyrics that show a common theme of male superiority. And for Christ sake all of the members of Death Grips are males, just imagine being around that testosterone. Then there’s that video of Ride pushing that dancing whore off the stage. Sure he probably pushes anybody off stage, but most frontmen wouldn’t push a female
