Pretty pleb if you ask me
He put gp ahead of fw in retrospect. Not bad ratings desu. I'd put nldw ahead of exm though.
JD> everything else
>complains that GP doesn't have much Ride
>rates FW which has no Ride higher than GP
That's honestly one of his biggest fuck ups.

where?
So, I just saw this neat idea on reddit, lets give it a try.
Using any songs from all of Radiohead's studio albums you are free to create a new album with a theme of your choosing.
What would the tracklist be and what would be the album title?
I'd rather listen to better music, in all honesty.
>>64726142
nah
is this the best 70s punk album?
you may be on to something. highly underrated band. of course, their first LP is also in the contention.
I suppose whether or not we consider the NY Dolls to be "punk" is a huge factor.

their debut never did a lot for me, barring a handful of tracks. a bit too flat and one-note for my tastes. i vastly prefer music for pleasure, machine gun etiquette, and the black album, with machine gun being my favorite. it has a fuller sound, is more sonically adventurous, and has a great melodic sense.
Pink Flag, I'd say
>This album is good/okay
Discuss
its like a 3 or 4 which is ok
It's got a couple good tracks, some okay tracks, but mostly mediocre tracks.

Are The Talking Heads and The Cars the same band?
No. The Cars were probably the most New Wave band that existed. Like if I was asked to give an example of pure New Wave, I would say The Cars - s/t.
Talking Heads was more post-punk early on along with being New Wave. Then of course they incorporated funk and then went to pop and world influences. So Talking Heads were more diverse.

Rockafeller Skank was everywhere when I was a kid. Hated that track back then and hate it now.
RIGHT ABOUT NOW
Radiohead, the most hyped and probably the most over-rated band of the decade, upped the ante for studio trickery. They had begun as third-rate disciples of the Smiths, and albums such as Pablo Honey (1993) and The Bends (1995) that were cauldrons of Brit-pop cliches. Then OK Computer (1997) happened and the word "chic" took on a new meaning. The album was a masterpiece of faux avantgarde (of pretending to be avantgarde while playing mellow pop music). It was, more properly, a new link in the chain of production artifices that changed the way pop music "sounds":...

absolutely true
OK Computer, Kid A, and Amnesiac are still very good albums if you aren't an influence fiend and don't hype yourself up to hear stuff.
>>64725710
Why would i even care about the opinion of a guy who thinks Faust I is the third best rock album ever made
Strong
