Is anyone else becoming more pleb as time passes? I was an avant teen, and used to judge everything that wasn't trout mask replica. As a result I never listened to bands other teens were listening to, like Animal Collective or Radiohead. Well, years later, I finally give them a shot and absolutely love them, while my contemporaries have begun to delve into the avant garde.

Don't know about pleb/patrician but in high school I mostly listened to dadrock like the Beatles and Queen, got into metal at some point after that, but the past 5 years or so, maybe more, I've gotten into softer and softer stuff and mostly listen to pop stuff (as a genre, not top 40), both traditional and contemporary folk, slowcore, ambient, etc.

I wish your post made sense, because this is a brilliant album that helped catalyze the fire that lit many genres of metal to come after it, including that of my own band which I am listening to right now. This is not on par with any fucking thing Kanye. What the fuck makes you think that? This production is absolute shit. The only reason you're saying this is because of the over use of auto-tune. The mixing is awful for one, two, the vibe I get from the percussion set being used and the synths is that of some late 90s to early 2000s shitty mainstream electronic pop music a la Aqua or Kaskade. The lyrics are stupid as fuck too.

So no, people wouldn't lose their shit if Kanye released this, it would probably get panned, because it's a boring track that goes nowhere with an overuse of auto-tune and really no direction or flow.
