I'm trying to get F#A# on vinyl but all I can find on Discogs is this version that's only 34 minutes
where can I find an LP of how the vinyl originally issued? forgive me if this is a nublet question I'm new to record collecting
It wasn't originally. It came well into CD's domain and well before it became a fad to collect vinyl.

The 34 min version is the original vinyl pressing. Godspeed re-recorded FAI for the CD release with way more content.

Maybe, but he's right about prog, a lot of it is just wannabe jazz/classical (ELP) garbage for people who think are too god for rock music but can't get into actual jazz or classical.

In what way, if any, was Fela Kuti a sexist? I've recently discovered Fela Kuti (through his radical leftist views) and really enjoy his music, but I'm perplexed by this charge that he's a sexist. I've tried searching for statements from him or accounts about him which substantiate that claim, but I've yet to find any. The only exception is a contextomized quote about him embracing the charge of being a "sexist", though the statement seems to me like more of an attempt at defending his polygyny against the accusation that it was sexist than actually embracing the charge itself. Here is the quote in question:
>To call me a sexist [...] for me it's still not a negative name. If I'm a sexist, it's a gift. Not everybody can fuck two women every day. So if I can fuck two women every day and they [critics] don't like it, I'm sorry for them. I just like it.
Does anyone know more about this, or have read any biographical accounts of Fela Kuti which address this topic?
I did extensive research on Fela for one of my uni finals, he had like 300 wives and pretty much viewed them as objects but he was also one of the greatest musicians to ever live and fought for many other rights so its cool

I don't doubt Fela Kuti's musical prowess; I'm just curious about who he was as a person. What evidence is there that he viewed he objectified his wives? Do you have any sources to which you could refer me?
From what I've read about him, Fela seemed to have embraced his conception of African culture to an extreme degree, which apparently included a low opinion of "women, formal education, and AIDS", as one article put it. I've yet to find much substantiation for his particular characterization, however, hence my skepticism.
Would I be an idiot if i mixed on these?
The frequency response is not bad ( + or - 3dB ) so it is generally flat
