I need some sad folk songs, everything else I've been listening to just seems dry and empty at the moment.
I recently found out a girl I used to see is getting married, and I never loved her at the time - but I'm starting to think maybe she actually cared about me and I fucked it up.
Last night I spent some time in the back of a police car despite doing nothing wrong - and being told I'd done nothing wrong - ultimately to be let out in such a way that insinuated criminality.
My job's disappearing and I've got exams coming up I just can't seem to give a fuck about. I just feel like everything's slipping away, like I'm getting older without actually progressing.
Can anyone relate to this? Does anyone have any songs that'll encapsulate this feeling.

I love Crystal Castles, Trust, Unison, Prefuse 73, deadmau5, Holy Other, Yppah, John Maus, etc.

What exactly is slap bass? Looking it up doesn't help me understand it, because it just sounds like normal bass playing to me when I listen to it. Pic unrelated

One of the most underrated albums of the 90s.
Great singles, and the album tracks aren't far behind.
I found a copy of this in a record store on vinyl for like $20 sealed about a decade ago and I was like 11 and I bought it, played it to death, now it's all scratched and in bad shape. Looked up the average price this record goes for, like $200.
