Are Death Grips the new Beatles?
>>65321775
I can see it.
It's a meme to say/ call them a meme but name another artist who's constantly putting out new changing music. Seriously name one. Every current artist sticks to their same form and movements yet DG is a constantly evoking art form. It's all just my opinion tho I'm sure I'll be called a massive pleb.
>>65321775
Yes!
Both were the meme bands of their generation. The tradition of biggest memeband goes Beatles --> Pink Floyd --> Radiohead --> Death Grips.

Now it looks no worse
looks like /mu/ gained taste
If you press the Blue button, all the albums under it are wiped away from history. If you press the Orange button, all the albums under it are wiped away from history. You would have to make a choice, which button do you press, /mu/?
Both at the same time.

how is exmilitary that much better than the rest of their albums?
Its got two of their worst and most memed songs; Takyon and Guillotine.
Tracks go on for way too long - ie Beware and I Want It.
like, its a good album but i never understood why its held up as such a masterpiece compared to the rest of their discography
Who is the most /mu/ character?
>>65321437
Definitely her since she likes NMH.
April, shes a /mu/tard herself. Her favorite band is NMH
>>65321437
She was born in Bjorks home in Iceland and loves Jeff Magnum. Confirmed for /mu/ lurker.
I don't know shit about music, I barely know the genres, but i've been wanting to expand my music tastes by jumping directly to the edgy heavy shit. Anyone have any good heavy metal or rock songs?
Pic unrelated
>heavy edgy shit
Considering you're new to music I don't know to what extent you want.
Boris is pretty cool, you may like them

How come most rock music to incorporate electronic elements has been weak as fuck?
>pic related
Not weak as in it's bad music, but as in it's not powerful, like Led Zeppelin and Nirvana were.
The closest thing I can think of to "powerful" electronic rock is Melt-Banana and they're very grindcore so I'm not sure if they count.
look up the song hotfoot by doldrums
>>65321249
well just go and listen to some industrial metal then, why do you want especially rock with electronics if you desire to listen to heavy stuff
Death Grips comes close sometimes as well when they start bringing in guitars, but the overbearing hip hop influence also kinda disqualifies it.
Seriously though, Death Grips and Melt-Banana need to tour together.
What is is some modern (post 1990) Psychedelic Rock that doesnt sound like dog shit
UUUUUUMMM... GUYS?
