There was literally nothing wrong with Newbie Dash.

Newbie Dash taught Rainbow Dash humility, which is a good lesso for her in my book. Whether or not it was needed, I'm not sure. At times, Rainbow Dash can be written inconsistently.

Dusedau had one good, one bad, and one mediocre episode and his Spike writing is pretty top-tier. Should have been him who wrote Gauntlet of Fire to be honest, then Spike probably wouldn't have been so bland.
