It's not that I dislike people; quite the contrary, I'd probably sperg the fuck out for 72 hours, roleplay being sociable, and then go back to my usual self when I returned home.
My problem is that I can't get off my ass to even half-ass a costume, and I'm, like, in my 30s heading to 40 and figure I'm too old for this shiat. So, fuck it, I sit on my ass and let another con pass me by.
Those of you who are onsite and having fun, enjoy this. Whether that means sitting in your hotel room or putting on a T-shirt while you wait in line for autographs, or spending 6 months getting friends (Friends? What are those? wait, fuck, I watch a show that's about those!) to help with a costume and going full derp at the gala and rave. And everywhere in between.

What exactly is Maryland ordinances on alcohol and the presence of "minors" anyway? Surely as long as you're being carded at the presumed bar (I don't know the layout) and prohibited to leave with your drink why aren't 18-20 year olds allowed in the same room? Also even for parts of the con that don't involve alcohol why is it still 21+?
I come to this con expecting a provided SFW/NSFW mix of content and can't even be treated like an adult when it comes to certain events.

Well, good morning. I'll be wandering around the con in a 4cc Jersey, Rarity edition #77.
Last night we spotted the BLM protesters on the corner of Pratt St and Light St. It didn't escalate much, but there were cops everywhere, and a helicopter hovering above yelling at them via loudspeaker to not block the streets. I'm not sure if they were aware of us, but the con was sure aware of them. Staff members were seen monitoring all the entrances, but ultimately nothing came of it. I'm not sure if it'll happen tonight.
