>>27834398
tfw my full havel ironflesh build is shit ds2 is shit
>>27836202
Armor only mattered in DaS1. DeS and DaS3 have no poise and in DaS2 it's laughable but you could get full elemental resist to everything(even simultaneously).
>>27834398
>Make Equestria whole...
I realize that Dark Souls and Dead Space have the same initialsand are both excellent gamesbut that's not what /souls/ is about.
>>27836607
>Make Equestria whole
But it's a "lord of hollows" ending reference.
https://youtu.be/ARsDaCKu85k?t=1m15s
Oh its back.
>>27836318
Actually, it appears DaS3 poise determines how fast you can roll or react again after you get struck. I'm not saying that's a good thing but you'd fare slightly better in PVE
>>27834398
ah, this glorious thread is back
how has everyone been so far?
got any story ideas for this thread?why not give writing a try with it?
We're gonna get a Bloodborne 2R-right guys?
>>27837841R-Right...
>>27837841
Yeah right, that has as much chance as DeS being ported to pc.
>>27837841
I hope so. Bloodborne's one of my favorite games.
>>27837828
I would honestly give it a try, but the souls/borne games are hard to replicate. You have to have an entire world built with ages of lore to go into it, but not reveal any of it.
>>27839065
Poetry in its truest and most brutal form
The sun has risen where I live...
>>27834398
Soooo uh does anyone want me to continue that green from the last thread? If so can they post the last thread's achieve, because i never made a pastebin.
I'm gonna beat DS3 before the DLC comes out, r-right guys?
>>27840839
Of course. NG takes like 50 hours if you want to beat and visit everything, and collect/farm most of the weapons.
>>27840704
I miss Wuzzy
>>27840866
All I'm missing in terms of bosses defeated is Nameless and Soul. I've beaten all the other optionals includingHorace and Hawkwood
>>27840839
I'm working on it right now. I just beat twincest princes.
>>27840866
50 hours? u wot m8?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vn05qpn2e1Y
I'll hunt every beast... and you will be one of them...
>>27841925
Too much?
I DID IT. I FUCKING LINKED THE FIRES. FINALLY.
Holy shit. It feels so good.
>>27840779
I'm just gonna lay this out there, it would be best for you to go out and find it for yourself. It is highly unlikely people will find the other thread for you, and they still might want to see more of your story.
Go find your past writing, and let the story continue.
The mlp movie should be about the m7 kindling the lothric fame otherwise in a desperate attempt to stave off the age of darkness the fire will force itself upon equestria this consuming it... Bit random but meh
>>27834398
Ah Celestia, or some say Celestial, do you hear our prayers?
>tfw PC fag...
I like Bloodborne but do you think it was a bit shitty to make it one console exclusive I mean if it was a big name like Halo and little big planet sure but Bloodborne looked like such a good game for ALL platforms.
>>27843855
Blame Sony. Same goes for DeS.
>Play Bloodborne for the first time yesterday
>Kill Cleric 3rd try, Gascoigne 1st try
>Buy the emblem and fight this fucker before going to Old Yharnam
>"Huh this isn't too bad- HOLY FUCK SHE CAN HEAL"
Took like 10 tries until I finally got her moveset down
Killed Bloodstaved Beast 1st try, though
>>27843943
Forgot pic but I'm pretty sure it's obvious I meant Vicar
>>27843943
There's always a "that one" boss in souls-like games. Depends on your playstyle. Like, in 3 the biggest problem for me were the abyss watchers, yet people tend to have way more problems with Sulyvahn which was DESTROYED by my trusty zweihander on the first try. It actually took me two evenings to defeat the watchers, not even the nameless king was that hard.
>>27843984
Pontiff to me kicked my shit it because of how fast and unpredictable his swings were
He's a pretty good boss overall I think because like the knights outside Irithyll he teaches newer players that you can't just spam B or O to totally avoid damage since they delay their attacks to punish you for ill-timed rolls
Nameless was a bit difficult, but I'd say the boss that rekt me the hardest was Old Demon King with his black flame and AoE spam bullshit
And his fucking self-destruct attack at the end made me rage really hard
>>27844021
You just have to out-damage the ODK - he only gets threatening attacks when his HP is low. Oh, after his self-destruct he just stands on his knees, powerless to lift his club.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8znVx_NYjQ
>>27844066
Well yeah now I know that
These days I do bosses first try on my new playthroughs, but that's pretty much expected in souls games once you know what to do for them
Although The Four Kings can still totally wreck me if I'm not wearing something with huge amounts of poise or don't do enough damage before
looks like somebody has to rekindle the fire.
We are in need of more discussion. Anyone care to come up with something?
>>27847380
Think of your favorite pone.
Design the Dark Souls build you think they'd use.
Is she praising herself?
>>27847596
Nah, she's SunSET. She'll be praising the hollow by killing the flame.
>>27847613
I like to think that she would link the flames
>>27847596
praise the bacon!
Canterlot... Canterlot... blasphemous murderers... magic-crazed fiends. Atonement for the wretches by the wrath of Mother Faust... mercy for the poor wizened foal. Mercy, oh please...
>>27837232
I thought that was equipment load? Someone tested it with 6 great clubs at like 69% equip and got the same amount of recovery as havels at 69% or something similar to that experiment. I may be wrong though that was kinda early in the release.
>>27840779
What green was it my man
Also off to work so
Fingers crossed you are alive
>>27836591
this is so awesome
hello, thread
>>27843943
Oh hey nice, someone else who just started Bloodborne
I started it earlier this week, and I've been playing it in a weird as fuck order
>tfw completely missed Old Yharnam and ended up almost finishing the Forbidden Woods without even knowing it existed until I was told by one of my friends
As my first Soulsbourne game I am enjoying the shit out of this, and I'm not really sure why cause all that's happening is my getting my shit pushed in consistently
>>27848798
When you die in Dark Souls- and by extension, in Bloodborne- you come back better. There's something addicting about it.
Tears of Denial
Would Your bloodborne character survive in Lothric?
would your souls character survive in YharnamWould your waifu survive in a relationship with you?
>>27850665
My DS 3 character would survive in the EqG world, any threats can easily be stabilised by a great shield bash to the face via yhorms shield.
Sunset going power mad over a crown, just bash her to the ground.
Dazzlings stealing your lime light, Smash all three across the floor.
Shadow bolts raining on your parade, pimp slap them with your solid iron stronk.
>>27851040
>You will never smash an antagonists face in with a greatshield...
They say heavy armour is useless but the weight you carry isn't protection. it's fashion.
>tfw no pet Iron golem
Feelie mark Feelsaders.
Thread is deader than a dodo so...Any Demon soul fags here?
Before bed bump
>>27852174
>Demon's Souls
you mean the best souls game? What about it?
