I've never really understood the need to have that clean of a division. Like first of all, pic related is just barely on the human side of what most people would consider anthro, and I think it would've been considered anthro if Hasbro hadn't made it. That joke animation about Apple Bloomers actually did go into clearly anthro territory. Second, I've fapped to 3D women and mares, along with every animated version in between, and it hasn't interfered with my enjoyment of either.
