They need to stretch shit out since they're not going to have another season before the movie.
If they showed all of S6 without a huge ass hiatus, then it'd be over a year before the movie hits, and that would kill enthusiasm for the brand.

They're going to want to stretch S6 out till Dec/January, and then find something to use as filler until the movie comes out 6/7 months later. (probably shorts like what they were making for the EQG movies)
