He's the director for the Star Wars TV series Rebels. He has become infamous for creating waifuable characters only to kill them off, or to make you so uncertain whether or not your waifu will survive the next season finale. SSfags have now been left in a pit of denial over the death of the Seventh Sister. Ashokafags are now turning in their beds under the uncertainty, and Herafags are praying to their Filoni overlord to not kill her next.
Put it simply, if you have a waifu, particularly an evil/ ex-evil waifu like Starlight or Trixie, they may not last long. That's not to say that the Mane 6 and background ponies are off his hitlist....
