Some basic and beginning parts of it, anyway. Because much of the content in FiM originated from the stories and games Faust made up and acted out with her toys when she was little and watched G1. That's where she got her ideas like Twilight Sparkle and Nightmare Moon. Technically some things are also borrowed from G3, so it's fanfiction of that as well.
