Eh, I'm perfectly happy with the ending we got in the thread, even if nobody talked about it. It's more effective that way, no dramatic suicide, no sensationalism. Sometimes (rarely, but still) shit like that happens, ends as suddenly as it begins, and life moves on afterwards with no fanfare just leaving you to your thoughts.
Such a cute derail we have here.
