Just a mounted camera recording video, and then take stills to Photoshop.

I'm very familiar with that and the issues mentioned. I already had to deal with what happens if the previous owner doesn't use it and lets it all dry out. Took some work but I managed to get all the print heads working and ink tubes primed. Now that ts running I am amazed at how well and quickly this thing prints.
Already printed a pattern and then a revised version and saved like 4 hours of cutting and taping them together.
And yeah, its a plotter primarily for engineering drawings (perfect for patterns) but because it's basically a giant (complex) inkjet printer I can also do graphics and posters.
