Eurofag here. It's funny. We usually look down on you, calling you brutish and claiming that you inherited it from your convict ancestors. And look at you, resolving fights through gaming while we used to fight as a game. We used to play Power Rangers in the first years of elementary. It involved splitting into two groups (Rangers and monsters), striking poses, making stupid sounds and beating eachother up. I fondly remember chasing an asshole and bringing my clenched fist down on his back as he ran. He fell of course, and tried his best to murder me as soon as he was back on his feet. He didn't catch me. He grew up to become a bigger asshole.
Then there was also the roughhousing with friends in highschool and a few fights with bullies. I regret not going psycho on the bullies.
Anyway, a fight isn't about strength as much as knowing where to hit. A punch in the face, arms or sternum won't stop your opponent, but punch his armpit and he'll probably give up. Don't be stupid though, this is dangerous. Grips are another way of fighting smart. You'll have to tank some pain, but a good grip will stop your opponent from hitting you, redicule him (for some reason) and hurt him for as long as you keep it up, where a punch or kick would hurt it's most for a moment and after the adrenaline has worn off.

Back in my neighborhood, when we didn't settle disagreements with our fist, we raced. Either a lap around the block or to the top of the tallest tree. Pushing was allowed and used often.
We fought for fun as well though, well for fun and because we all secretly hated each other. When we weren't fighting we were throwing rocks at each other, breaking stuff in the abandon houses (and sometimes the not so abandoned houses), and playing "Extreme" Red Rover (which is basically football with none of the ball game part and all of the tackling)

I think you're judging the show too harshly. If nothing else it's success will affect future cartoons, either by pointing out to the creators what people want(in this case a characterful visual style, good music and good voice acting) or by convincing the higher ups that doing that x thing that costs y more is neccessary to market the show. Just look at SU and how popular it is due to it's style, music and voice acting even among the crowd that it isn't pandering to. Though waifufaggotry helps a lot, I'll give you that.

WWII and the Vietnam War most likely had an influence on the kids-now adults and their creations like cartoons. Work ethics and ability to defend ourselves were generally higher. We've gone soft in the absence of extreme adversity in recent decades. It inevitably makes children growing up more vulnerable and weakens them rather than strengthen them in the long run, unless their parents think long term and correctly expose them to those hardships.

Though the current 20-30 year old eurofags are mostly indifferent about america, the general feeling is negative. The CIA has been playing very dirty games for decades and people are very angry about it. Europe doesn't think it's at war. In the general public's eye, 9/11 was karma. The americans trained and used the Taliban as pawns during the Cold War, and it hit them back. Then, the indignant americans countered with overly excessive force, invading the Middle East with their soldiers of fortune, killing entire families of innocents and stealing the local resources in order to fuel the western consumerist way of life. I'm not saying that this is how it is or that I believe this. It's just the general opinion. My personal opinion is that there's a very clear line between every country's State and people. The people are always the ones who are forced to shoulder the burden of the State's actions. Like how everyone hates americans in general for their goverment's covert actions or how we get mugged on knifepoint after our governments marketed us as safe havens by sending humanitarian missions to traditionally nomadic opportunists who also can't tell people and State apart and therefore call us all crusaders and blame us indiscriminately while demanding those handouts the Red Cross crusaders promised.

I don't rag on people for their spelling for any reason. I knew from the beginning that English isn't his first language. It's more his oc's design and 'black market' career in the story. It's a pretty chuuni move. We've all, more or less, acted like that when we were at that age, but seeing it from an onlooker's perspective will never not make me cringe. He's got a good story going on with that character design choice. For all I know he's hinting that he's emotionally distressed and/or is a dealer of some sort of contraband irl, most likely the former.
