I guess my biggest complaint is that I just don't see any actual conflict arising yet, sure Trixie's alcoholism is there but it hasn't pushed her to do anything bad yet; there seems to be some bad blood between Trixie and the Griffon, but again nothing is really showing. I think that you are showing a lot subtlety but not actually reaching any of these points.
The story is cute as hell and I enjoy reading every word, I just wonder where is it actually going.
