i remember one of my wisdom teeth broke in half because they were shit for some reason. both of them were. the pain was a 10/10, and i consider myself fairly pain tolerant. nothing helped. i actually went over 48 hours without sleep simply because the pain kept me from passing out. finally went and got it pulled. i almost cried when they shot my mouth full of novocaine and the pain melted away. then i passed out for 14 hours with gauze in my mouth and woke up with no pain.

Just had mine pulled on the 27th. They gave me numbing medicine straight into my gums instead of the gas so I didn't feel anything until it wore off and even then it didn't hurt as much.

I got all four of mine pulled. One of them grew in at a bad angle and he had to cut out a piece of my jaw bone to remove it. That's not something you want to hear first thing when you wake up from a surgery.
The painkillers I got had me out like a light for the majority of the following week, and every day I'd wake up in a pool of blood on my pillow from the gaping holes in my mouth. Having to be doped out just to eat was not fun.

It could be worse, mine were coming in upside-down and looked normal on x-rays until they became a problem. I still have dry sockets and pain six years later, though they did have to break out a bunch of my jaw to get at them.

For bleeding, two days. Pain is just starting to get managable, but I am on painkillers right now (Tylenol with codine #3 30mg/4-6hr). Still can't chew anything, and talk witha lisp because of the swelling. Not too bad I guess. Removal of the bottom two was painful even on anesthetics while the top two felt like literally nothing.

Yo man, if you're still bleeding I really recommend getting some tea bags like earl gray or something and then dampening them in lukewarm water and using those in place of gauze. You'll look ridiculous with the strings coming out of the side of your face but the tea helps staunch the bleeding and it tastes pretty alright while it's in there. I did that when I had mine removed.

I had intravenous anesthesia so they just popped a needle into the crook of my arm. They did also shoot my gums and my palate with novocain to numb me. The one in my palate made the roof of my mouth sore for days on top of the general discomfort of having the teeth removed. Shit sucked.

Yeah tea bags do wonders for the bleeding, also they make your blood taste like tea. I remember going though a few of those a day and they really helped. Sleep as much as possible and don't forget icing yourself when you can to reduce the swelling, or prevent it. Drink lots of fluids, especially if its hard to eat as you need to do your best to keep your blood count up.
Take pain relievers as you need them but try not to overdose.

Feel better OP! If you need recommendations for foods once your jaw starts to feel a bit better I highly recommend instant mashed potatoes. I kind of lived off them after I got mine removed. You can mix in cheese and other soft things to give it more flavor. Also egg salad was pretty good if you like egg salad.
