i just wanna ask you guys here on /mlp. do any of you still watch mlp? I droped out of this fandom because of how shite the show got after lord Faust left after season 2 i just looked and saw there are now 6 seasons i have to ask is it still shite?

The quality did not improve. Some episodes and seasons are better than others, but over all the story telling and world building is at a lower measuring bar.

Honestly I wouldn't say the show "became shit" as soon as Lauren Left, but it did change, and many bronies didn't like this change, so they fled.
As for overall quality, I think S5 and the second half of S4 contain some of the best written and most enjoyable episodes of the whole series, but it's really a matter of opinion.
In 2012 I was coming to this board twice a day, reading fanfics everyday, rewatching episodes over and over
I still do those things, just not as obsessively, the fanbase has matured and tapered out in the last couple of years , as opposed to the over-enthusiastic explosion of its heyday

Season 1 had the cringest episodes of the show.
If it wasn't for the fact that I force myself to watch every episode of a show before calling it shit I would have just dropped the show a couple episodes in and not got to season 2.
Season 3 felt rushed and not well thought out as a whole, probably because it was rushed and not well thought out.
Season 4 was on par with season 2.
Season 5 had the best damn opener of all 6 seasons and the season as a whole was pretty good, the finale was a disapointment compared to the opener tho. not bad, just not as good as the opener. It give us King Sombra's mind controled army, though.
Season 6's opener made me worried that this season would be like 3 but the Spike episode has given me hope and the CMC episode was ehhh pretty good.
