Turns out Celestia was just playing sweet and powerless the whole time.Turns out shes actually power hungry, cunning, manipulative, and a massive dick. She easily wipes the main six even with the elements of harmony which were revealed to be fake all along. Then she sends them to the moon as punishment and to keep them quiet. When asked why she says that they attacked her and she was barely able to protect herself and did so as a last resort.
Afterwards a new main six are chosen and everything goes back to normal.
