Twilight was originally chosen, but then she came down with hay fever too. Spike was able to follow the schedule and lesson plans she laid out in addition to already being familiar with the subject matter.

It is give and take in this regard, it is not the same plot as Princess Spike even if the motive of him wanting to take responsibility is the same the way it is going to play out is completely different and ultimately will lead to a different lesson in the end.

It could work, like maybe not full on rape but maybe a more subtle metaphorical way. Like maybe they meet a pony who was captured by changelings had their love fed off for months.

Still planning out Outer Starlight part 2.
I had an episode but I think it only really worked in a season 1 context
>Rarity gets invited to a fancy formal private party
>discovers pinkie pie is invited too
>fear of public huniliation by association to pinkie because she's a socially inappropriate party nutcase happens.

Sounds good, but I agree that would have only worked in S1. Especially not after Sweet and Elite.
I think a good Rarity and Pinkie episode would be about both of the having to plan a party, each with different ideas in mind.

I have great concepts, but my creativity is bland and my writing is awkward.
What I'd like is a sandbox-esque episode where the mane6 can just have fun without the plot potentially railing them on and missing out on the celebrationa.
But I know you can mix in plot with character fun as S1 has shown, I just don't know how to do it in a good way.
>It's All Hallow's Eve night in Canterlot and the festivities are just getting started.
>Luna appears (and tells the Mane6 where she lives, what she does, if the batponies are enchanted guards, what the shadowbolts are, what spells she has, what she thinks of Celestia and Equestria.)
They walk around the town discussing things while the background and foreground is full of action and leaks into Luna and the mane6 interaction.
>Before she joins the background she tells them to be in the look out for anything unusual: wisps of magic/pure floating magic moving by itself.
>The mane6 join the rest of Canterlot in the cheerful festivities with skeletons, ghosts, silhouettes, candy corn, candy-themed ponies.

I had an idea of Rainbow Dash trying to get her flying license to get to the wonderbolts, but now it looks so much like Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3 that i can't even finish it

Hurricane Fluttershy
