Then a rogue manticore attacks one of the ponies and you successfully fight it off. The eldest pony says the you must take the wounded pony to the top of the mountain where the neerest cure is. You carry the pone all the way and save it's life. On the way down you get to talking and find out this ponies personality are quite similar to your waifu. Not an exact copy mind you but rather the same main trait with a few minor yet noticeable quirks.
After all this you find yourself right were you started but with a new friend, a grateful town of ponies, and a few gifted supplies including a map.

for me there is no "one pony" or one person out there for that matter. if i find someone i can mesh with on a personal level well then id have no issue having a relationship with them. so if i met a mare (or even stallion) in equestria i felt i could have a strong relationship with even if they were not my waifu (or husbandu) before i came to equestria thats fine. life is simply to short to pass by the good moments in favor of trying to find better ones that may or may not even exist. you should appreciate good company where ever you can find it, and if you fall in love with someone you hadnt planned to, that should only make your love stronger, because its real love.. not a forced one. and id expect my waifu to do the same. the thought of her being alone in the world waiting for me is a sad thought, we both deserve happiness.
