Nevermind the goalies, they get a couple saves, blunder through some, and one on one against a gold is basically like a penalty so I don't mind them not catching like 90% of them (offensive GKs that run against the shot are sometimes able to block it quite well). It's the defense that pisses me off, too often I see them losing the ball like retards, watching the ball pass right around them without even flinching, passing the ball straight into the other team's gold player like a dumbass. I don't think the main cup team should be redone that way.
BUT it would make an interesting idea for one of a number of /mlp/ teams for an unoffical /mlp/ cup.
The Vidya boards have a cup filled with teams mades of vidya memes and there was recently an unoffical cup made of nothing but professional wrestling memes.
So if people wanted to take the time to make a bunch of /mlp/ meme related teams we could have a tournament with them all competing in it.
