If so many people here are so pessimistic about season 6, then why are they even bothering with the show anymore? Maybe I'm naive, but shouldn't we actually watch it before condemning it?

I'm not pessimistic for Season 6, I'm cautious. It could be amazing or it could suck, but I'll wait until I see for myself. That's what we tell people to do with ponies, after all.

Why should you care what anyone else thinks? It's your reality. If you want to believe the next season will be fine, or know that you'll enjoy it regardless of quality, do so. Don't worry about the opinions of others. If they're here because they feel like it, then let them.
