Let's talk about toys and stuff.
My local TRU finally got some EQG Minis in. The singles were all there, as well as Sleepover Twilight and Fluttershy, but none of the scene sets were out yet.
Pinkie's Bedroom doesn't count as a scene set, does it?

It looks like some of the Wondercolts versions of the Six from that cafeteria scene are gonna be available individually, but some will only be available in packs (ie. Fluttershy here, as well as an accessory pack Rainbow Dash).

I've mostly been using Lego minifig accessories though. The 3.18mm diameter of their bars are slightly too big for their hands, but the plastic is flexible enough to still fit them in.

I only recently found out that the Explore Equestria brushables also had joints, but the play functions (press wings to move legs!) disappointed me.
The full jointage and sculpted manes are gonna look great with the EQG Minis.

Yes, I can confirm they are official. I can't pull it up this second, but I recognize them as part of the 5-Pack Hasbro had as I believe a Target exclusive, containing Twi, Applejack, Pinkie, Spike and Celestia. It was very early on in the series.

Ebay is the greatest damn resource for collecting pony merch I've ever seen.
Recently have been looking into getting the Walgreens exclusive Nurse Redheart brushable that was available around 2014 I'm pretty sure.
Biggest issue I have with Ebay is that occasionally, for loose figures in particular, I have no idea if it is official stuff or some Chinese bootleg.

Considering the fact that it's a part of a major brand segment, and that they need to convince investors who have already informed Hasbro of skepticism, it's not surprising. They put the giant dragon toy at the centerpiece of their new line for a reason. Probably the same reason that Rarity, AJ, and Fluttershy aren't in the first wave but Shining Armor is.
Hasbro didn't seem like they had a concrete answer to "where in brick and mortar stores will you sell this" other than saying that they were discussing it. If you put it next to MLP, you risk being unable to bring in boys who don't want the "pink" aisle. If you put it in the "action figure" aisle, you risk alienating the little girls who might want it.
Such are the challenges when you decide to market your brand that has spent the last 30+ years being the epitome of "girl's toy" as something for boys. Imagine if Mattel came out with a line of Ken dolls that were like GI Joe figures.

I don't have the specs on it, really. I had someone custom build her. He was the expert and he would recommend parts by telling me what it would do and if it was good by me, I would buy it and he put her together. This was done almost two years ago. Her name is Luna because she is engraved with Luna's cutie mark and she glows a deep purple and blue when she's running.

GoH Fan Series is probably in response to popularity of Funko stuff, and probably a reason that Funko might be taking an extended hiatus from making pony toys. I'm not sure their NMM and Chrysalis are ever coming out especially considering that both of them are covered in GoH's first wave.
