Now don't sell yourself too short; the only way to get better is to keep writing. Hell, that’s something that I seem to can’t even do (I haven’t written in about four months). And I’ve only managed to write two stories.
If you don’t mind, I have a few comments for you that you might want to consider next time you write some green.
Be careful with your verb tenses, make sure they stay parallel. There were a few instances where the phrasing got a little wonky.
>As you and Octavia sat upon the firm but soft chairs of the living room, you two had indulged in the classical arts of music, knowing that DJ Pon3 was out catering to a party
Get rid of the “had” in front of the “indulged”
Remember the old rule of "show don't tell".

Try not to tell your readers that Octavia is curious, show them that she is curious with description (i.e, what does her voice sound like, what does her facial expression look like?)
This might be overly nitpicky, however these words

got a bit too repetitive. Make sure to reread and look for words you might be using too much (unless you are doing this for an intentional reason).
As other Anons mentioned, the pacing was a little too quick towards the beginning (also I found the ending a bit rushed), but due to the length of the story, I’m not sure how much this could have been altered.
Overall though, good job man (especially with the clop section, because that is something that I was never able to get myself to write, so be proud that you can do that) keep going at it, and if you feel discouraged that no one is reading, remember that there’s always at least someone out there enjoying your story.
