Rarity is my least favorite of the Mane Six but that being said there is literally nothing wrong with liking Rarity.
Lauren said she was the most proud of Rarity as a creation, and that's probably to do with the fact that despite the fact that she is the embodiment of all the stereotypical girly shit that Hasbro dictated must exist in the show, she is still an actual fucking character you can engage with and not a walking garbage heap for terrible ideas.
I get the feeling Hasbro is forcing the writers to cram her into more episodes in an important role though. Look at how many of last season's episodes focused on Rarity as opposed to, say, RD or AJ who are the least stereotypically girly characters of the bunch.

I can understand why Faust is proud of Rarity, since she managed to make her pretty solid despite being forced to give her every girly stereotype, but the result is still that she's the weakest of the Mane Six, and thus undisputed worst pone. But as I always try to point out in these threads, worst pone is still miles ahead of most other fictional characters.
