I didn't know my grandma did this but she spends the entire year buying random gifts that are on sale for the kids, cousins, nieces, nephews etc and then when it gets around Christmas she asks the adults which kid the gifts would be best for and gives them out accordingly. I bought a shitload of merch while I was in highschool, had an entire shelf filled with blindbag pones and about 3 or 4 plushies along with a few vinyl figures. I knew my niece loved mlp and every time she came over she would run to my room and play with all my pones, I thought it was cute so I let her take one home every once in a while, but now I'm not too big on having merch anymore so for this Christmas I stuffed all of them into one box and wrapped it up. When she came over she ran to my room but saw all of them were gone and I told her, 'Sorry, I had to get rid of them.' The look on her face killed me inside but I knew it would be alright, so when we started handing out presents I gave her the box, she still had a bit of the sad look on her face but once she opened the box...
My god the face she made was absolutely priceless, she yelled "LOOK AT ALL THE PONIES!" then ran over to me and gave me the biggest hug, saying thank you the entire time, it was the cutest thing ever.
As for what I got, a nice but really thin jacket, wireless bluetooth headphones, portable phone charger, and a limited edition Cobra USA butterfly knife.
