Okay, I bring this up again, cause I want to here what people think of this pitch for an MLP bimbo story before I sit down and do something with it:

I think that the way to make it different is to look at other people than the Mane Six.

As for why I go with the Crystal Heart affecting Equestria, I understood it (back in s3) that the empire can actually effect the magic flow in Equestria, which is why it Sombra's return may have otherwise turned int a severe threat for it according to Celestia. When I say Twilight is one of the ponies the most affected at first, it is because unicorns in general are the most affected ponies, thanks to their closer connection to magic in general. And Twilight is unaware of how she changed, instead thinking everything is normal while being now more of a slut.
