Stormy Flare sends Spitfire to go find him after she gives birth to his son. Spitfire ends up accompanied by Rainbow Dash for some reason, probably something to do with brown nosing her way into becoming a full-fledged Wonderbolt. By the time they find him, the weather is absolute shit and they end up having to spend the night with him. They learn about his crummy foal-hood and how his dad always pushed him to be the best. He was just trying to protect his record to make his dad proud or some cop out. They see that he's not such a bad guy and forgive him. The next day, they all go back to Cloudsdale and Wind Rider and Stormy Flare get married. Happy ending.

No idea. That said, here a stupid fan idea I would have for Lightning Dust:
Dash is asked in her function as a weather pony to train someone who comes from Cloudsdale and is in need of training. That someone turns out to be Lightning Dust, who turns out has hit rather hard times following being kicked out of the Wonderbolts. While Twilight actually tries to convince them to discuss things out over the course of the episode (as neither of them profit by being hostile to the other) both of them are eventually forced to work together, when some weird magical weather phenomenon hits Cloudsdale and affects most pegasi, including the Wonderbolts.
Dash also learns that the main reason for why Lightning was so ruthless in her ambitions was, that she was always taught to strike being the best at all cost, based on something a relative of her, a former Wonderbolt and soldier, taught her. Near the end of the story, when Lightning actually has a chance to leave Dash behind in the phenomenon (which would affect her ability to fly permanently and therefore destroy her chances of being a Wonderbolt, something Lightning sincerely wished to happen out of spite) Lightning, who has gone through some character development after Dash showed her a bit of kindness, actually comes back and allows Dash to escape, while she herself loses her flight abilities in one wing.
through her actions she proves she can actually change and Spitfire (who witnessed the thing through plot convenience) in discussion with Dash decides to give Lightning actually a second chance for flight camp. Which she takes, after Twilight actually manages to restore her flight by magic.

though another episode with Trixie would be nice. Like, Trixie invites the Mane 6 to a show of hers, during which she tells some sort of utterly awesome, but highly ridiculous and embarassing story about the Mane 6, whcih the audience eats up like shit. The conflict i then about the Mane 6 trying to convince Trixie, who is rather obvious to what she does, that this isn't really a good thing, even if she has the best intention at heart at making the ponies that gave her a second chance look like heroes.
