I fucking love compression, bandwidths and video formats talk.

Visually it's very simple, solid colors.
Combined with the low 24 frame rate it becomes easy to compress losslessly.
They could go the route of sending out the vector animation directly and getting crazy tiny file sizes but then you'd have all the source material to edit the episode and assets in it's entirety.
